Primo Tailoring is a family-owned custom clothing and tailoring shop with locations in downtown Erie and Pittsburgh's North Side. We make made-to-measure suits, sport coats, dress shirts, trousers and jeans for men who want to look sharp without spending their mornings thinking about it.
Wedding suits for grooms and groomsmen
Getting married in Erie or Pittsburgh? We make custom wedding suits for grooms and help coordinate the groomsmen so everyone looks right in the photos. Start two to three months before the date and we'll take it from there.
Business suits and work wardrobes
From your first interview suit to a full rotation for the office, we'll build a wardrobe that fits your work and your life, and grows with you one piece at a time.
Alterations for everything else

How much does a custom suit cost?
Custom suits at Primo start at $1,400. The final price mostly comes down to the fabric you choose. We'll show you options at a range of price points and help you decide what's worth it for how you'll actually wear it.
How long does custom clothing take?
Most custom pieces are ready in 4–6 weeks. Have a wedding or event coming up? Tell us the date at your first visit and we'll plan around it.
What if it doesn't fit?
Every custom garment is covered by the Primo Fit Guarantee. If it doesn't fit, we'll make it right. If we can't, you get a full refund.
Do I have to buy a whole wardrobe?
Not at all. Plenty of clients start with one shirt or one sport coat. We just make sure every piece you buy works with what you already own, so nothing ends up as a mistake in the back of your closet.
What's the difference between made-to-measure and off-the-rack?
Off-the-rack clothes are built for a size chart. Made-to-measure clothing is cut to your measurements and posture, then finished by our tailors, so it fits from day one instead of needing a pile of alterations.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome during store hours, but booking guarantees you unhurried time with our team. Book in Erie or book in Pittsburgh.
